Katy Curtis is a Humanities Librarian at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. She received her BA from the University of South Florida, her MA in Modern Languages with a specialization in French from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and MLIS from the University of Washington Information School. At Puget Sound, Katy provides instruction and research support as the liaison librarian to several departments including English and Gender & Queer Studies. She has previously presented on using university archives to teach information literacy at the 2019 Association of College & Research Libraries Conference and on zines as liberatory pedagogy at the 2018 Race & Pedagogy National Conference. Her professional interests include information literacy and instructional design, critical pedagogy, zines, and using digital humanities methods and tools with undergraduates.
